Baseline vs. KDM Tuning Stage II ECU Upgrade

The vehicle tested was equipped with exhaust & downpipe with a cold air intake and filter, running CA 93 octane premium pump gas. The baseline was run on a 4WD Dyno Dynamics dyno before the ECU was tuned. Keeping the same strap down on the dyno the KDM Tuning ECU Tune was installed then run again on the dyno. Solid gains in torque were seen right off the bottom through out the entire power band, with respectable horsepower gained through out the entire rpm range. Increased boost targets and torque limits along with changes made to improve throttle response result in fantastic performance and drivability when driving on the road.  Faster spooling of the turbo on the low end results in increased out of the hole acceleration.

Tunes are available to suit vehicles with no modifications as well as vehicles with exhaust and cold air intakes. 87, 89, 91 & 93/94 Octane tunes are available, with best performance seen when running premium pump gas.  Installation can be completed at any KDM Tuning flash dealer, or the ECU can be removed and sent in for modification.

The vehicle tested was equipped with Megan Racing Exhaust and CAI, running 87 octane pump gas. The baseline was run on a 2WD Dyno Dynamics dyno before the ECU was tuned. Without unstrapping from the dyno the KDM Tuning ECU Tune was installed, before the vehicle was then run again to see the performance results (as pictured below). Solid gains in torque were seen on the low-end to mid-range, with respectable horsepower gained through the mid-range to top-end. Improved throttle response, performance and drivability are experienced when driving on the road.

Tunes are available to suit vehicles with no modifications as well as vehicles with exhaust and cold air intakes. 87, 89, 91 & 93/94 Octane tunes are available, with best performance seen when running premium pump gas.

The baseline was run on a 2WD Dyno Dynamics dyno before the ECU was tuned. Without unstrapping from the dyno the KDM Tuning ECU Tune was installed, before the vehicle was then run again to see the performance results (as pictured below).
